The Hilltop House

The Hilltop House is a truly unique property with exceptional 360 degree panoramic views sitting on a hill overlooking the fjord and mountain ridge on both sides. The Hilltop House was originally built by the British Navy as their communication headquarters during WWII. The house has it’s own private natural hot spring hidden in the landscape right next to the house and consists of 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed that sleep 6 guests in total.

The Farm House

The Farm House is the oldest building on the property but newly renovated with all modern amenities and a private outdoor jacuzzi. The house is on three floors with 1 bedroom with two bunk beds, 1 bedroom with a double and single bed and 1 bedroom with a double bed and sleeps 9 guests in total. It also has two bathrooms and is ideal for a large family or a group of friends. In the backyard it has an open small chicken coop where our two chickens and a hen live and roam around.

The Club House

The Club House is a beautifully renovated farmhouse with great furnishing, local art and all modern appliances. It has 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 1 bedroom with a double and a single bed that sleep 7 people in total, two bathrooms as well as a private outdoor hot tub. You will enjoy gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and ocean as well as the natural geothermal hot spring by the ocean. The Club House is part of Hvammur Estate, a 1200 acre private estate where you can enjoy Iceland at its best.

Please make sure to return the house keys and gate remote at the end of your stay, the price for a lost key is 50EUR.
Please make sure to always close and secure the lid on the jacuzzi when not in use.
We reserve the right to charge for any damages to the facilities caused by guests up to 1000EUR.
All reservations are subject to a 180EUR cleaning fee.
We strongly advise a 4x4 car is used when visiting Iceland and Hvammsvik in the winter months. Hvammsvik is not liable for issues encountered in challenging weather conditions.
