This property is at Skeiðflöt about 100 square meters of land only 10 minutes from Vík í Mýrdal. For centuries there have been farms at Skeiðflöt with animals, but nowadays we farm tourists, and one of the houses we call Farmhouse Lodge can accommodate more than 20 people, we welcome people every day to our place and you are free to stay as long as you like.
Every morning there is a breakfast buffet ready from 8-10 am. Farmhouse Lodge or Skeiðflöt is 14 km from the center of Vík í Mýrdal where there live about 400 people and only 250 meters from road number one. Guests have access to free parking and luggage storage while they stay at the Lodge. In Vík í Mýrdal there is a gas station, good restaurants, public swimming pool, bank, supermarket, and more services.
Glamping tents side at the Farmhouse Lodge is open from 1st June – 15th September every year. We have small and large tents for family and friends

The beautifully designed rooms of Hótel Höfn feature custom furnishings, comfortable beds, and high-quality beddings. We are proud to tell you that we use shampoo, shower gel and handsoap from Sóley Organics. Sóley Organics is a luxury organic skincare made in Iceland based on heirloom remedies. Nourishing natural skincare products derived from hand-picked wild Icelandic herbs.
The size of the rooms at Hótel Höfn is 12-18 m2. We do hope that the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at our hotel, along with tasty food and the amazing panorama view of the Vatnajökull glacier, will make your stay worthwhile. There is no elevator in the buildings, however, the friendly staff is always happy to help with the luggage.
Ósinn Restaurant
We emphasize using local and high-quality Icelandic raw material in our wide range of dishes that vary from local langoustine dishes to pasta and vegetarian dishes. For groups and special events like meetings, conferences, funeral wakes, etc, there is a dining room that can seat up to 100 people.
Ósinn Restaurant is open every day from 17 - 21.

Surrounded by countryside in a rural area, this straightforward hotel is 46 km from the town of Höfn and 34 km from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. It's just off Highway 1.

About Útlíð Cottage.
Fully equipped holiday home only an hour's drive from Reykjavík. Sleeps up to 8 people. In all the houses there is a free net, hot tubs, and a gas grill is by the whole house as well. The summer houses Stóra- Breiða- Ástar- Gull- Gleði- and Glæsibungur also have a hot tub and a view of the countryside.
Local Area
Golf, swimming, great hiking trails, church, and a nice horse rental are on site. Gullfoss and Geysir, Laugarvant and Flúðir are close by. Incredibly cool natural paradise all around
Restaurant
The Dish is a restaurant in Úthlíð, open every day of the week. The lunch buffet consists of traditional Icelandic home cooking and is open every Saturday when there are games on the screen. Lamb plays a key role on the menu in the Court. Lamb burger, lamb lasagna, lamb salad, and lamb and bearnaise are all very popular at the Court. The bar is open every night with games on the giant screen, you can play billiards and play chess. Free WiFi is available in the court. Guests can choose to dine on-site or bring their own food to the property. The court is also the reception for the cottage and information center for tourists. It should be noted that the food we offer in Úthlíð is, as far as possible, sourced directly from the farmer.
