This property is at Skeiðflöt about 100 square meters of land only 10 minutes from Vík í Mýrdal. For centuries there have been farms at Skeiðflöt with animals, but nowadays we farm tourists, and one of the houses we call Farmhouse Lodge can accommodate more than 20 people, we welcome people every day to our place and you are free to stay as long as you like.
Every morning there is a breakfast buffet ready from 8-10 am. Farmhouse Lodge or Skeiðflöt is 14 km from the center of Vík í Mýrdal where there live about 400 people and only 250 meters from road number one. Guests have access to free parking and luggage storage while they stay at the Lodge. In Vík í Mýrdal there is a gas station, good restaurants, public swimming pool, bank, supermarket, and more services.
Glamping tents side at the Farmhouse Lodge is open from 1st June – 15th September every year. We have small and large tents for family and friends
About Hotel Laxá
Location: Hotel Laxá is in a very quiet and beautiful location, located about 2 km from Lake Mývatn and a 30-minute drive from Goðafoss and Krafla crater. Lake Mývatn natural baths are a 20-minute drive from the hotel, while Húsavík is a 45-minute drive away. Horseback riding and hiking in beautiful surroundings are common activities in the area.

Hotel Laxá was opened in 2014 and stands by the beautiful Mývatn. The hotel has two room types: standard room and room with lake view. The room is decorated in a modern way and extra beds can be added on request.
Standard Rooms: The standard rooms have a double bed or a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. The rooms are 18m, very spacious and suitable for two adults. Extra beds can be requested for the third person in the room at an additional cost.
Lake view rooms: These rooms have a great view overlooking Lake Mývatn from the room's windows. The rooms have a double bed or a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. Location: Hotel Kría opened in the summer of 2018 in Vík í Mýrdal. Vík í Mýrdal is just over two hours drive from Reykjavik and has long been considered one of Iceland's main tourist attractions.

The hotel has the restaurant Drangar, which opened in the summer of 2018, and we strive to choose only high-quality seasonal ingredients. The hotel also has a modern bar. The hotel serves a light breakfast and consists of local products.
One of Iceland's most famous beaches, the "Black Beach", is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
About Hellnar
The south-facing cottage offers a viewing platform of Snæfell Glacier known for its beauty and mystical power in the background and the Atlantic Ocean in the foreground.
The accommodation offers 120 square meters on two floors and can comfortably house up to 6 people. There are 3 separate bedrooms on the upper floor along with a sleeping sofa, located in the informal TV/DVD corner. The cottage also offers a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher) and dining facilities.
