If you are no longer able to stay with us after making a booking:-

- If 14 days before check in date
Free cancellation OR change of dates subject to availability. We will only charge for the difference if the booking price is higher on the requested dates.

- If less than 14 days prior to check in date
100% cancellation fee, OR change of dates, if 3 days prior to check in, subject to availability. We will only charge for the difference if the booking price is higher on the requested dates.

We work hard to make sure that the yurts are beautiful for every guest. We wish to make this experience available to as many guests as we can. Maintenance and upkeep are a constant job for us and although we enjoy this, we have some simple and important information we ask you to be aware of to avoid confusion.

Payment:-
Standard direct booking:-

The full balance will be debited from your account on the booking date. Please ensure that sufficient funds are available for the transaction to process successfully. In the event of non payment we will contact you for alternative payment details. If we are unable to reach you, your booking will be automatically cancelled.
If you are no longer able to stay with us after making a booking:-

Keys:-
Like the rest of the yurt, the doors and keys all come from Mongolia. Lost keys are difficult to replace, therefore we have to pass the cost of replacement to you in the event that a key is lost.

Damage:-
Any cost of damage to the yurt that we do not consider 'wear and tear' will be passed to you. This will include staffing hours for repair and travle costs to nearest town to buy replacements. (Please note that we can provide waterproof sheets if requested 24 hours before your check in date.) Please do not try to adjust the wooden structure inside or the ropes outside. Any problems should be reported to the team who have extensive training from our Mongolian yurt builders. The cover needs to remain on the top of the yurt to keep us warm and dry in the Icelandic climate.

Parking:-
We recommend parking your vehicle in the parking area near the entrance. The path can be narrow and icy. You are welcome to drive to your yurt to take luggage, however please be aware that at night time reversing can be hazardous. We accept no liability for any damage to your vehicle in the event that you are unable to manoeuver safely.

Smoking and cooking:-
Both smoking and cooking are not allowed in the yurt. Every yurt is fitted with smoke detectors. We will pass any cost to you for any time spent airing the yurt and for any additional cleaning, due to smoking or cooking.

Additional guests:-
We are unable to accommodate any more guests than we have beds for in the yurt. Any additional guests will be charged at the rate of an additional yurt regardless of availability.
