Hotel Laxnes is a comfy lodge-style retreat overlooking the Mountain Esja and is located in the coastal town of Mosfellsbaer. The local area offers nature lovers:  rivers, waterfalls, mountains, sea, hiking trails, and seeing the Northern lights. Mosfellsbaer is family-friendly and offers play parks, swimming pools, and various eateries. For self-drive guests, we offer free parking as we are ideally located off the Ring Road. Whilst being only a 15-minute drive away from Reykjavik city center, our town is a perfect balance of enjoying the comforts of the countryside with easy access to all popular destinations, for example, Golden Circle, north & west Iceland. Public transport is also conveniently located directly outside the hotel.
