Smalaskáli (old name Stekkholt 3) is located approximately 4,5 km away from Selfoss and has a beautiful view on the mountain Ingólfsfjall. The comfortable living/dining room offers a kitchen with great view over the landscape. Two bedrooms with double beds are offering places for four persons, in addition, there is a sleeper berth on the couch in the TV corner. The restroom is equipped with a toilet and a shower.

The house has underfloor heating in all rooms. The house is located in a nice landscape with the view of the volcano Hekla and glacier Eyjafjallajökull to the east. Icelandic horses are on the fields around the house and in the summertime a wide variety of bird species can be spotted. There is a good chance of spotting northern lights in the time of September to March. The vacation home is located in the ideal spot for trips to sightsee like the Golden Circle, the south coast of Iceland, the Westmen Islands and the Reykjanes-penisular.

Reykjavik is only 45 minutes away with the car and the international airport Keflavík is 90 minutes away. There are good shopping opportunities in Selfoss with 4 supermarkets and plenty other businesses. Several restaurants, café and pizza services as well as Fast-food restaurants are taking care of physical well-being.
