Múlakot

Renovated in 2017 but designed to maintain and enhance a rustic feel. Comfortable couch to get lost in a book or watch a movie. A BBQ on the porch. Basic amenities in the kitchen and basic WiFi. Guests are welcome to walk around the property and hike the hills over the cabin. It's a fantastic area to explore!

The neighborhood

We are about 15min drive from a small town called Borganes, which has most of the things you might need when vacationing in Iceland. Grocery store, wine store, petrol station, restaurants, swimming pool, bank, clinic and more. All around us the beautiful nature ready for you to explore!

Getting around

You will need a car to get to the cabin. In the late fall, summer time and early autumn, a small car will suffice, but your better off with a 4x4 in the winter.

The cabin is well planned, cosy with a rustic touch, with a queen size bed and a (comfy) pullout couch it suits couples and small families. Great for relaxing in the countryside or as a hub while exploring West Iceland.

We are always ready to answer any questions or concerns you might have. We monitor our emails and try to be as accessible via phone as much as we can. Also we try to be in the neighborhood as much as we can, and love meeting up with our guests if they want. Otherwise we respect your privacy and won't bother you with any unnecessary interruptions.
